Today my group and I (Beatrix, Kohei, Brenda, Ardy and I) presented our PowerPoint presentation about Japanese traditional music. We each presented the slides that we made. Then we did a repletion.
3rd~
Today we just listened and looking at our friends who are doing their PowerPoint presentation. We saw 2 videos of the traditional songs which are 'doraji' and 'arirang' (traditional korean songs). Then I planned about how to make our booklet that's due next week. In the end of the session, we watched richard and leo beign punished in front of the whole class.
8th~
Today we leared about pentatonic scales. Today is also the day we submit our music booklets. Mr Sadrakh told us that we had to compose a melody of 16 bars.
10th~
Today some of the students were punished because they were late and got scolded or punished. Then Mr Sadrakh asked for our 16 bar homework (which i totally forgot about and did not do anyway,) and so we just proceeded to do the 32 bars all at once (for people like me whom totally forgot).
15th~
Today in music class we had to submit our homework which is to compose a melody of 32 bars (thankfully i remembered). We could not use just any note we had to use one of the pentatonic scales. then we watched Mr Sadrakh play some compositions of the our friends.
17th~
Today we had to make our 32 bar melody official by re-writing it down on a sheet of paper. Then after that Mr Sadrakh showed us how to make a blog with blogger.com (which Mr Boni had already told us how in the fourth grade so it wasn't that necessary). Then he questioned us about how many reflections we did.
22nd~
Today we did not do much. Mr Sadrakh only checked weather we could play our instruments (i could). Then, we also just watched the other students attempting to play their instruments.
24th~
Today we learned about the notes in a scale. We studied the G scale, which is one sharp. Then Me Sadrakh told us that when you put a sharp on a note you go up half. He gave us a homework of finding the major scale for 2#, 3#, and 4#.
